Real Time Quantitative PCR

 SinoGenoMax offers both custom and pre-optimized QPCR assays for a variety of specific applications including gene expression profiling (for siRNA knockdown & microarray study validation), copy number determination of DNA or RNA, microbial detection and residual DNA analysis, biodistribution studies of gene therapy products, allelic discrimination / SNP genotyping, and transgenic mouse genotyping. We provide a full range of services from assay design, PCR primer and probe synthesis, nucleic acid isolation, Q-PCR, RT-Q-PCR & allelic discrimination, to data analysis.

Real-time quantitative PCR remains one of the most sensitive and quantitative tools for gene expression used today. Equipped with ABI Prism 7500 and 7000 sequence detectors, we offer both TaqMan and SYBR Green chemistry for quantification. In particular, our gene expression profiling system integrates real time quantitative PCR technology with conventional northern and western blot techniques for analysis of gene transcription, translation, and protein modification.

We have successfully carried out a number of expression profiling projects for both biomarker identification studies and in vivo target validation studies. The skills and experience gained through these projects render us fully capable of rapid and accurate analysis of gene expression in both clinical samples and animal tissues.
